Knab posts €117.9 million profit in 2024

Knab closed 2024 with a net profit of €117.9 million. We continue to grow as the bank for the self-employed. In 2024, more than 20,000 new primary banking customers joined us.
BAWAG Dutch Cover Pool (formerly Knab N.V.)
Overview
Per November 29th, Knab N.V. merged into BAWAG P.S.K. As a result, BAWAG P.S.K. is now the issuer of all the outstanding covered bonds under this covered bond programme. In connection with the issuer change, the existing SPV structure of the programme remains unchanged. Furthermore, the covered bonds will remain collateralized by the unchanged Dutch cover pool. This cover pool will represent a separate third cover pool of BAWAG called “BAWAG Dutch cover pool (formerly Knab N.V.)”.

Knab appoints interim CEO

Knab has announced that Sat Shah will take on the role of interim CEO, effective 5 June 2025. He succeeds Nadine Klokke, who stepped down after five years at the helm of the Dutch digital bank.

Acquisition of Knab by BAWAG Group successfully completed

The acquisition of Knab by BAWAG Group has been successfully completed. The Austrian bank bought Knab from insurer a.s.r. in February 2024.
Aegon Bank N.V. becomes Knab N.V.
April 5, 2024
As of April 4 Knab has changed its statutory name from Aegon Bank N.V. into Knab N.V. The change does not have any legal impact on Knab or any of its customers, suppliers, business partners or investors.
