Knab N.V., the Dutch online bank for the self-employed, has posted a record profit in 2023. The bank reported a net profit of €134 million, up €102 million from the previous year.
April 5, 2024
As of April 4 Knab has changed its statutory name from Aegon Bank N.V. into Knab N.V. The change does not have any legal impact on Knab or any of its customers, suppliers, business partners or investors.

Knab will become part of BAWAG Group. The well-established Austrian banking group takes over Knab from a.s.r. The brand Knab, the products and the focus on self-employed customers will remain.

Knab N.V. can issue debt under its Soft Bullet Covered Bond program and can issue Senior Unsecured notes. In the past, Knab N.V. issued debt through its Conditional Pass-Through Covered Bond program.
